| Opium of the Masses formed in early 2005 and since then the band have been writing and developing songs and their style. The band is a hard hitting three piece from the peoples republic looking to break into the mainstream of Irish Rock and further beyond. This certainly is an act to look out for as although they haven't played many gigs they've already played major cork venue Cypress Avenue. Every time this band takes to the stage the reaction from the audience is spectacular. From start to finish of their set the bands music grabs hold of any listener and doesn't let go. Carl Marx said that religion is the opium for the masses (the drug of the people), this band certainly are your Opium Of The Masses. |
